The Citizen Scientist Track is designed for students, teachers, and the general public. Participants learn about AI models that are actually used in space science and technology, and are given opportunities (e.g., competitions) to create related datasets, develop similar AI models, and evaluate their performance. Datasets voluntarily generated by citizen scientists will be curated and integrated, and then used to advance data-driven science and AI model development or improvement. In the long term, the educational activities in this track aim to help nurture future talents who will lead Korea’s space era.
